James 1:27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Background and formation of the work

The Home was founded by Bobby Masilamani in 2013 after he completed his college education. He started this Home as a result of the vision and inspiration from God to provide a new life for underprivileged chilren around the villages where he lives. Bobby is the second child in his family. Born to Christian parents, his father being a pastor, Bobby was saved in his teens and been serving the Lord since then in this area. He has a heart for children and wants to reach as many underprivileged children as possible for the Glory of God.

Currently this Home has adopted 46 children aged from 4-16 years and coming from different life situations. They are sheltered in a minimal accommodation and are sent to the Basic Schools nearby.

Financial Support

So far the home has been supported by local friends and some people from overseas. We are prayerfully looking for like-minded people who have a burden for the children and who will invest their prayers and support for bringing transformation to these little lives. We would love to invite people who want to volunteer in the home for teaching the children. We need £500 (US$700) a month just for food, quite apart from any other needs, such as school supplies, clothes and rent.

The Orphanage operates under Indian government guidelines and was duly registered by the State government to give us greater opportunities to extend the work to as many children as we can.

Bobby Masilamani and his mother take the whole responsibility of looking after the children. There are another four people working for various things related to the Home.

Conclusion

We trust that God will enable us to fulfill the vision that that these children will grow up to be men and woman who will do their best for society.
